Whats the status of OverDose, anyway?

As always...

This is a small two man project, and while we WILL get to a point that the game will release and are committed to this, please remember that what we have done so far is actually quite an achievement. Remaking an engine from the ground up, adding in up to date modern features, and creating art and media that would slot into any current gen game isn't as easy as you would think.

So, while we write some background things, and do some research on a few *interesting* rendering techniques, just understand that while we may be making less public announcements, not a day goes by that we don't move towards our end goal.

Except for Nicolas, that boy is lazy. x

So....hypothetically.... could you load up a map, connect to another session and play? Is it fully featured/functioning that way? If so, then how's about a polished up tech test with 1 map? I'm fairly sure interest in the project would skyrocket if people could actually get hands on with it.

Well, until recently you could load two players into a map and shoot each other.

You can still load up a map with two people, but no shooting atm as the game codes been ripped out and started over much cleaner/better.

I'll be working on the weapons code very soon now, so you'll be able to shoot and kill each other, but until we get proper (and complete) animations you won't be able to see player models in other than a T-pose.

Same old story, I can do an entire games worth of media, but can’t animate, at all. So, here we stand, balls out and no chins to rest on them.
